James Bendele, Ministry Lead of Marianist Encounters at Central Catholic, San Antonio, TX, sends us this update.

Earlier this month, the Guardian Angels of Central Catholic High School wrapped up their annual Animal Defense League Drive. They had enough donations (dog food, cat food, chew toys, etc.) to fill up two vans! This ended up being the most successful ADL Drive in Guardian Angels history.

In return, the kind ladies from the ADL brought over Mr. Jackson (a German shepherd mix) to visit with our boys while we loaded up their vans.

The ADL is a no-kill shelter that matches up furry friends with loving families and senior citizens in our community. As always, it was a blast working with them!
