Assembling Blessing Bags: Community Service in Action at St. Mary's South Side

St. Mary South Side’s service club joyfully assembled blessing bags filled with essential supplies and personalized notes of God's love to support and uplift its unhoused neighbors.
A few weeks ago, our service club took in donations and assembled bags of food and toiletries for the unhoused. Our AV (Audio Visual) club put together this little video about it. Â

Preparation of Blessing Bags: St. Mary South Side’s service club gathered to organize and pack items into blessing bags intended for individuals experiencing homelessness.
Personalized Outreach: Each bag included a personalized note intended to convey to the recipients that they are loved and cared for by God.
Motivation for Service: Our students expressed that helping those in need is a positive experience, driven by a desire to support the homeless community.
