Chaminade College Preparatory in West Hills, CA, plans to begin construction on its new solar- and battery-equipped Student Services building on June 1, 2028, after completing a baseball stadium, pedestrian bridge, and surface parking lot.

Chaminade College Preparatory, West Hills, CA, is taking a major step forward in modern campus infrastructure and environmental stewardship with the upcoming development of its new Student Services building. Designed with both student convenience and ecological responsibility in mind, the project highlights a strong commitment to renewable energy.

Key Highlights

  • Renewable Energy Integration: The facility will feature 76 high-efficiency solar panels paired with advanced battery storage systems, ensuring a reliable, clean energy supply and a reduced carbon footprint for the campus.

  • Strategic Phasing: Construction of the Student Services building is part of a larger, carefully coordinated campus master plan. It is intentionally scheduled to begin only after several prerequisite projects reach completion.

  • Target Start Date: Current projections estimate construction of the Student Services building will begin by June 1, 2028.

Preceding Infrastructure Milestones

Before construction on the Student Services building can begin, CCP, CA must complete several key campus upgrades, including its upcoming Baseball Stadium, Pedestrian Bridge, and Surface Parking Lot, to improve athletics, accessibility, and flow.

Once these foundational projects are successfully finalized, the path will be clear for the state-of-the-art, solar-powered Student Services facility to take shape.
