North Catholic's Collection Drives for Hurricane Helene

Elizabeth Miller, Ministry Lead of the Marianist Family Encounters Project at North Catholic High School, Pittsburgh, PA, sends us this update.


At North Catholic High School, the Environmental Club felt moved by the stories of destruction that they were hearing in the news after Hurricane Helene. The students moved quickly to find a local organization that was taking trucks of supplies to North Carolina and Tennessee. The school ran two collection drives over the next week weeks, collecting medical supplies, cold weather clothing, and food, which our partner organization transported to hurricane-affected areas and distributed to people in need.
