Join the Laudato Si' Movement worldwide online Season of Creation Opening Prayer Service on September 1, 2024, at 9:00 New York ET.

From Laudato Si' Movement:

God calls us to put our faith into practice. We’re looking forward to celebrating the Season of Creation with you and being concrete signs of the first fruits of the Spirit (cf. Rom 8:23). Just two weeks left to start!

The season is a precious opportunity to hope and act with God’s gift of creation and to celebrate God’s divine act of creation. To dive into this special time together, we invite you to join the global Christian family for an online prayer service on 1 September, the World Day of Prayer for Creation.

During our prayer service, we’ll plant the seeds of action that will blossom into hope and the hope that will blossom into action.

Join this special prayer service on September 1st.

It will be held on Sunday, September 1st at 9:00 New York | 15:00 Geneva/Brussels | 16:00 Istanbul | 21:00 Manila.

There will be special times for listening to the Word of God in Sacred Scripture and creation, reflections by religious leaders, and intercessory prayers by members. Prayer will focus on giving thanks to our common home.
