-       Bro. Jesse O’Neil, SM, co-chair of the Marianist Family Encounters Project.

The Marianist Family Encounters Project, now in its third year, was inspired by Pope Francis' vision and words.

Laudato Si’ was an ecological turning point for the Catholic Church. His initiative, the Global Compact on Education, has fostered a renewed commitment to the education of all children, including the most vulnerable in our world.

Together, we celebrate Pope Francis’ entrance into eternal life. He has left a legacy of compassion and solidarity for us to continue. May God give us the passion and commitment to continue this most important work. As Pope Francis said, “We will never be disillusioned or lose our way if we are guided by God.”

Let us pray for the upcoming Papal Conclave.
