Bro. Steve O’Neil, the MFEP coordinator for SM Communities and Marianist Parishes, reports that 24 out of the 26 communities have a designated liaison for communicating what has been done already to address the goals of the Laudato Si' Action Plan and the commitments of the Global Compact on Education; and then helping to plan any future actions in the province for succeeding years. He has also formally registered the Marianist Province of the US as a Laudato Si' Platform supporter, and with data from the recent province eco/energy survey, completed the initial self-assessment. Next month, 17 Brothers and 3 Marianist Sisters will be participating in the province-sponsored creation-centered retreat at Our Lady of Guadalupe Monastery in Pecos, New Mexico.
