Register for two MEEC events this Saturday, April 26, during this Easter season. The first is MEEC’s Native Plants workshop, and the second is Sister Dorothy Stang, SNDdeN—A Pilgrimage of Hope and Courage.

MEEC is organizing two events this Easter season on Saturday, April 26, 2025. The first is MEEC’s Gardening With Native Plants workshop from 9 am to noon. Learn about using Native Plants in your homes, gardens, and landscapes. This workshop will provide everything you need to assess your site, choose your plants, and manage for maximum wildlife benefits. Registrants can also view MEEC’s 2025 plant sale catalog. For more information and a link to register, click here.

The second event will be Sister Dorothy Stang, SNDdeN - A Pilgrimage of Hope and Courage. MEEC is thrilled to co-host this event with the Sisters of Notre Dame and Chaminade-Julienne High School. This pilgrimage will be a prayerful journey through eight meaningful locations in Sr. Dorothy's life and legacy. Discover Sr. Dorothy’s Dayton roots that shaped her mission to make God's goodness known to the people of Brazil. Choose between the morning (8:30 am) or afternoon (noon) bus tours. Both tours will start at CJ’s Founders Center.
