Tecaboca Farewell Celebration

The Tecaboca Farewell Celebration is on Sunday, May 4, 2025. This celebration is an opportunity to pray together and give thanks for the many blessings received at Tecaboca.

From Tecaboca Camp and Retreat Center:

A farewell celebration of gratitude for the many years of ministry at Tecaboca is scheduled for Sunday, May 4, 2025, before the ministry closes. This will serve as an opportunity to share fond memories and give all those associated with the center a chance to connect and reminisce.

With simplicity and gratitude, we welcome those who feel called to share the activities of this day:

10:00 am Gates open

11:00 am Mass at the Chaminade Chapel

12:00 pm Reception at the Dining Hall

1:30 pm Walk the Grounds and Family Pictures

3:00 pm Three O'Clock Prayer at the Big Cross

We appreciate those who have shared pictures and testimonials of blessings lived at Tecaboca. If you have yet to share something, please send it to director@tecaboca.com as soon as possible. The photos and written testimonials will be shared during the farewell celebration.

For more than 85 years, Tecaboca has provided a beautiful and peaceful natural setting in the heart of the Texas Hill Country for a myriad of retreats, religious conferences, summer camps, and other special events. Originally opened in 1937 as Texas Catholic Boys Camp (Tecaboca), the center has welcomed generations of young people and families while instilling Marianist values and life skills.

Thank you for your prayers, support, and encouragement over the years. Let us pray together in gratitude for the many blessings received at Tecaboca, the beautiful site that many call holy ground!
