Catholic Climate Covenant is offering a grant through the Victory Noll Sisters for a large-scale net zero emissions/decarbonization project undertaken by any US Catholic diocese, community, or organization.

From Catholic Climate Covenant:

You may remember earlier this Spring when we announced the recipients of our Victory Noll Sisters small grants program. At that time, we selected 91 recipients for the small grants, ranging from $500 to $1,000, totaling $85,000. We stated that later in the year, we would accept a second round of grant applications.

The time has finally come! But this round will be different from this Spring and from previous rounds of grants.

You can read our press release here for more details about this exciting new decision. The application information can be found below.

From now until Nov. 4, the Covenant will accept applications for one large grant ranging from $15,000 to $20,000.

This grant will be given to a diocese or Catholic organization to help initiate or be reimbursed for a large-scale net zero emissions/ decarbonization project. Interested applicants will need to answer a series of questions posed by Catholic Climate Covenant regarding carbon emissions reduction measurements, ties to Catholic Social Teaching, and other metrics for determining impact and success to determine if you might be a good candidate for this grant.

The Covenant intends to announce the recipient of this large grant by Dec. 2.
