Guardian Angels February Updates

James Bendele, Ministry Lead and Guardian Angel Moderator at Central Catholic High School in San Antonio, TX, shares with us this update.

Over the past month, the Guardian Angels have remained one of the most active groups on campus. We recently wrapped up a successful cleaning supply drive for Project MEND. Project MEND helps serve the elderly and disabled veterans by providing medical equipment. Our donations will go a long way toward sanitizing that equipment.

We also partnered with our wonderful art teacher, Ms. Saathoff, to make Valentine’s Cards for elderly veterans.

In addition, we spent a day helping our Robotics team organize the shop.

One of our best projects of the year was distributing food to needy families at VFW Post 8397.

And along the way, we received the High School Challenge Award from the South Texas Blood & Tissue Center for our blood drives!

We still have plenty of service projects and drives ahead of us.

Thank you!
