Hope and Joy at Purcell Marian

Gabbi Jones, Director of the Campus Ministry at Purcell Marian High School, Cincinnati, OH, shares this update on the school’s new initiative, Marianist Meals.

We have started a new tradition this year at Purcell Marian High School in Cincinnati. It is called "Marianist Meals." About three times a week, students are invited in groups of 10-15 to campus ministry to enjoy their lunch meals with one another. We have three lunch bells, so we see about 30-45 students per day.

The hope is that every student feels welcomed by campus ministry and eats with other students they may not engage with throughout their day or outside of school. This new program brings much joy into our atmosphere, as we have seen many new friendships made around our table. Marianist Meals allows every student to feel seen and heard as we bring Christ's love to everyone at our school.
